those buildings behind the pool resemble the resort behind the Burj in Dubai but there are too many greens behind. unless they planted more or this is just a concept to be built? jag is right, they can do and have done a lot with petro-dollars.

there is too much green and i have been at the top of wild wadi "The Screamer" in dubai which gives one of the best views in dubai. everywhere is building and sand. could be abu dhabi. anyway you can't dive there :-)

dove once in fujairah. about 150 kms from dubai. not bad for a dive in the desert. heard the coast along dubai is too silted due to the huge sand sucking activity for the various islands they are making there.
